New York native Louise Lambert is a vocalist, pianist and bandleader with a broad range of musical styles, including smooth jazz, swing and soul. A multidimensional performer, she is also a lyricist and composer and has written songs for The Pointer Sisters and The Spinners, and co-wrote a song with Alanis Morissette. LAHAINA — Jazz Maui presents Sunset Jazz, featuring the Louise Lambert Quartet, on Sunday, Nov. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Maui Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Factory at 78 Ulupono St. in Lahaina.

The quartet includes vocalist and pianist Lambert, guitarist Michael Ferenci, bassist Barney Cortinez and percussionist Jose Ortiz.

Sunset Jazz offers great live jazz music by visiting and local professional musicians and chocolate/beverage pairings every Sunday in the upstairs open-air pavilion at the Chocolate Bar.

Different artists perform each week, and the music is always top-notch.

Concert attendees must be 21 or older and have a valid photo ID.

Maui Ku’ia Estate Chocolate, through its Chocolate Laulima program, supports local nonprofit organizations such as Arts Education for Children Group/Jazz Maui. Proceeds from concert ticket sales benefit Jazz Maui’s music education programs.
