Singer/songwriter Jerry Santos, also known for his work with the group Olomana, will be sharing some new and never-recorded original compositions.

Hawaiian Music Hall of Fame honoree Jerry Santos will share his music and mana’o (thoughts) in an interactive Windward Community College online workshop, “Kani Na Pua Ko’olau,” on Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Participants are invited to play along with their instruments in a laid-back, kanikapila style while also having the opportunity to learn about Santos’ process for composing music.

The non-credit workshop via Zoom, hosted by Windward CC Music Instructor Kamuela Kimokeo, includes access to downloadable sheet music and video song recordings to practice playing with Santos prior to the workshop.
