Junior golfers compete at year-end championship

WAILEA — The Hawaii State Junior Golf Association/First Tee – Hawaii (HSJGA|FTH) conducted the year end 2023 HSJGA | FTH Tour Championship at the Wailea Emerald Course last weekend, Dec. 2-3, 2023.
A total of 50 junior golfers from across the state teed up in the 36-hole event.
HSJGA and FTH thank the Wailea Golf staff for being gracious hosts.
The championship winners were as follows:
Boys 7-10: Kyle Schmidt, Honolulu
Boys 11-12: Leo Saito, Hilo
Boys 13-14: Keola Silva, Waianae
Boys 15-18: Ben Cafferio, Wailuku* (won on second playoff hole)
Girls 7-10: Lucy Cui, Honolulu
Girls 11-12: Makena Yonemura, Waipahu
Girls 13-14: Alexa Takai, Honolulu
Girls 15-18: Kate Nakaoka, Mililani
