NAPILI — Headed into the midpoint of the first round of the Maui Interscholastic League Division II girls volleyball season, the Maui Preparatory Academy team is in the middle of the pack, one game behind third place Seabury Hall.
Na Pueo have played impressively in their opening matches and look to be headed for a strong finish down the stretch of their schedule.
The MIL D-II teams include league-leading Hana, Lanai, Seabury Hall, Maui Prep, Molokai, St. Anthony and Haleakala Waldorf.
The Maui Prep team is guided by Head Coach Ryan Kirkham and assistants Sarah Risser, Kia Kenolio and Tricia Kama.

The team roster is relatively young and includes five seniors: Margaux Perchard, Josie Vasquez, Lacie Leon, Tesa Chin and Yuna Lee.
They are joined by sophomores Lola Doherty, Lauren Brown, Mayson Miles and Avery Kirkham; and first-year student-athletes Sofia Mallari and Mercedes Armstrong.
