Lahaina Yacht Club to host 30th Charity Golf Tournament
LAHAINA – This year marks the 30th annual Charity Golf Tournament hosted by Lahaina Yacht Club.
Over the past 29 years, the club, its membership and the community have raised over $242,000 for various charities on Maui.
This year’s proceeds will benefit Hospice Maui and the Lahaina Junior Sailing Program, pushing the donated amount to over $250,000.
The tournament will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Kaanapali Kai Course.
Many local businesses, such as Whalers Realty, TS Restaurants, UFO Parasailing and Maui Jim, continue donating prizes year after year.
This year will be no different, with Mercedes Benz sponsoring a par-three hole in one.
With big prizes, big fun and a big celebration and awards party afterwards at Lahaina Yacht Club, the event is certain to please avid golfers and golf watchers alike.
The format is a shotgun scramble with special games, bonuses and treats at every hole.
Visit Lahaina Yacht Club’s website at www.lyc.us for more information on sponsorships, donations and registration.
It’s only $125 to play this year. The Gold Package includes four players, hole sponsorship, after-party tickets and four bonus bundles.
The Gold Package is limited to the first 22 teams.
“In Memoriam” Hole Sponsorships are available for $100, and Corporate Tee and Hole Sponsorships are available for $200.
