PAIA – The North Shore Run returns on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 7 a.m. This unique, 7.25-mile race begins and ends at Doris Todd Christian Academy.

This beautiful, hilly course takes you on a mix of asphalt and dirt roads in Paia on Maui’s North Shore.

The annual race was started in 2016 for the school’s 60th anniversary to raise money for scholarships for kids who want to attend the academy but can’t afford it. All proceeds go directly to tuition for the keiki.

The entry fee is $50 after Sept. 9, and $100 for relay teams of four. Participants receive a T-shirt and racing bib while supplies last.

Medals are awarded to the top male and female finishers and overall relay team in their age category. Results will be posted by age group.

Prizes from business across Maui will be raffled off to participants.
