WAILUKU – The County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for its 3-on-3 Blue Court Youth Basketball Challenge Tournament in August.

There will be no entry fee to enter the tournament. Registration will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 19.

The tournament will take place on Aug. 2-3 at the Waikapu Park outdoor court, Richard Pablo Caldito Ballpark outdoor court and the Kahului School Park outdoor court.

There will be a boy’s division and a girl’s division in the 8-11, 12-15 and 15-17 year age groups.

Fifteen-year-olds will have the option to play in either the 12-15 or 15-17 age groups, but they can only play in one age group.

Space is limited to the first eight registered boy’s and girl’s teams in each age group.
