LAHAINA – Join the fun and celebrate the start of the Sentry Tournament of Champions PGA Tour event week at the inaugural Community Kick-off on Sunday, Dec. 30, at Campbell Park in Lahaina from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in conjunction with Kapalua and Lahaina Junior Golf.

“Connecting the Sentry Tournament of Champions to the surrounding community and areas is a major focus for our event,” said Alex Urban, general manager of the Sentry Tournament of Champions. “This community and our passionate fans make it possible to stage a world-class sporting event here each January and are the key to being able to give thousands back to local non-profits each year.”

This interactive and fun family day is complimentary and open to the public. The day will feature giveaways of tournament merchandise and items, and a grand prize giveaway of a signed golf pin flag from defending champion Dustin Johnson.

Golf activities will be provided by professionals from Kapalua Golf staff featuring “SNAG” golf games – a lively and interactive way to test your golf skills and lots of fun for all ages and skill levels.
