The tournament gives fans the chance to get up close and personal with the best golfers in the world.

KAPALUA – The support of the Maui community is what makes the Sentry Tournament of Champions possible. Since 1999, this event has taken great pride in being one of the most fan-friendly events on the PGA Tour, and 2019 is shaping up to be the best yet.

When fans walk through the main entrance of The Plantation Course this year, they will immediately see a new Sentry Swing Simulator Experience waiting for them. This free experience gives fans the chance to hit a shot at a famous hole on the tournament course, or a shot at the famous Flower Hole at Sentryworld, the home course of title sponsor, Sentry Insurance.

Food is always something on our minds, and this year we are bringing food trucks to the tournament to give fans more options in addition to traditional concession stands, as well as to embrace the local food scene here on Maui. From fresh poke, to tacos, to barbecue, foodies will have more options than ever at this year’s Sentry Tournament of Champions.

We are beginning a new tradition in 2019, officially designating Friday as Aloha Friday and encouraging fans, PGA Tour players and staff to wear their favorite aloha apparel. We will be giving out prizes for the best (and worst!) fan outfits that day, so come prepared.

As always, we want to remind everyone that three kids 18 and under get in free with a ticketed adult – it is truly one of the most family-friendly events on Maui!
