Beach cleanup set
LAHAINA – On Saturday, April 1, the Lahainaluna High School Career and Technical Education Department will team up with Lahaina Canoe Club in a beach and roadside cleanup.
Students and members will meet at Launiupoko Beach Park at 7:30 a.m. that morning; then, beginning at Olowalu, they will scour the roadside and shoreline for trash while working back to Launiupoko Beach Park.
Additionally, Leilani’s on the Beach will provide lunch at the park for the cleaners. This event marks the first of the canoe club’s community outreach projects of 2017.

Maui Prep seeks girls volleyball coach
NAPILI – Maui Preparatory Academy is seeking a highly qualified varsity girls volleyball coach for the upcoming 2017 season.
The season runs from August to mid-October.
