Registration open for the Tom Rosenquist Legacy Golf Tournament
LAHAINA – Maui Preparatory Academy announced that the eighth annual Tom Rosenquist Legacy Golf Tournament (“The TOM”) will be held on Saturday morning, April 15, at the Royal Kaanapali Golf Course. Rosenquist, a founder and passionate supporter of Maui Prep and an avid golfer, passed away in September 2009. “The TOM” is one way that the school has chosen to honor his memory and his legacy.
Individual entry ($225), team entry ($900), hole sponsorships ($250 and $350), and reception tickets ($55) are available. All proceeds benefit the students of Maui Prep. Registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8 a.m. This is a scramble format event. The “19th Hole” will take place at Roy’s Kaanapali with a lunch reception, awards, and silent and live auctions.
Adding to the fun will be two hole-in-one contests to win a car, sponsored by Jim Falk’s Valley Isle Motors. Great prizes for top teams include restaurant certificates, overnight stays, outer island golf, golf products and much more.
