Kapalua Golf to host ‘Arnold Palmer Day’ on Nov. 17

By Staff | Nov 17, 2016

Golf legend Arnold Palmer co-designed The Bay Course in Kapalua.

KAPALUA – Kapalua Golf will host “Arnold Palmer Day” at The Bay Course on Thursday, Nov. 17, the day Palmer turned professional.

Golf legend Palmer recently passed away. Kapalua Golf will honor “The King” by offering 15 percent off green fees all day at The Bay Course.

From 8 to 11 a.m., The Bay Course staff will host a “Best Impersonation of Arnie,” with a video swing contest on hole #1 and the winner selected by the staff. There will also be prizes, free giveaways and much more.

“Arnold Palmer has made a significant impact in Kapalua and for Maui golf,” said Emmett Markulis, head professional of The Bay Course.

“We are honored to be a part of the Arnold Palmer family. We wanted to celebrate the life and legacy of ‘The King’ at the historic course in which he co-designed.”

In addition, Pineapple Grill Restaurant will be offering a few of Arnie’s favorites! Enjoy a discounted Arnold Palmer Burger and a complimentary, signature Arnold Palmer Drink with your purchase.
