LAHAINA – Lahaina Yacht Club’s 39th annual Keiki Fishing Tournament is set for Sunday, Nov. 13, at Lahaina Harbor. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the harbor. Fishing will end at 11:30 a.m.

This event is free to all participating children ages 12 and under. Each keiki will be outfitted with a free T-shirt, fishing pole and bait. Bring your own bucket!

After a morning of fishing, the young anglers and their parents will be treated to lunch while LYC volunteers tally up scores for prizes.

The club’s goal for this event is to have a prize or gift for as many children as possible.

All donations will be directed to the LYC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations may be mailed to Attention: Keiki Fishing, LYC Foundation, 835 Front St., Lahaina, HI 96761.

“Many mahalos for helping to make this family get-together the biggest community event held by LYC,” noted Co-chairs Mike Byrnes and Scott Pearson.
