The 5K and 10K races will start and finish at Lahaina Gateway Shopping Center and follow an off-road course up on the old sugar cane haul road in Lahaina, featuring sweeping mountain and ocean views.

LAHAINA – The sixth annual Wiki Wiki 5K & 10K Fun Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 1, at 7 a.m., with race day registration starting at 6 a.m.

The shorter distance is for runners and walkers of all skill levels, and the longer distance is for runners only. Both distances will start and finish at Lahaina Gateway Shopping Center.

Individuals or teams of four or more may register online via the event website at www.wikiwikirun.com or at the Vitamin Shoppe on Sept. 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. at discounted rates. Race day registration will also be accepted.

The entry fee includes an event beach towel, goodie bag and entry into the door prize drawings. Goodie bag items and prizes have been donated by local retail merchants, non-profits, restaurants and service-providers.

A full list of prize donors, event sponsors and additional information may be viewed on the website. The event also features prizes for the top three male and female finishers in both distances, as well as top-finishing teams. Team members also qualify for individual awards.
