By Staff | Mar 19, 2015

KAANAPALI – The Hawaii State Junior Golf Association will celebrate Hawaii Junior Golf Day on Saturday, March 21.

Sponsored by the Aloha Section PGA and Hawaii State Junior Golf Association, this event is free, fun and educational for children ages 5-18.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., followed by clinics led by PGA professionals from 9 to 11 a.m.

Parents will receive information on the “Roadmap to Junior Golf,” detailing where they can get their children enrolled in a junior golf program and have opportunities to learn, play and compete.

Mary Bea Porter King, president of the Hawaii State Junior Golf Association, noted, “Let’s work together to get our youth involved in a sport for a lifetime and have them spend time on a golf course!”

Maui courses participating on Saturday include Kaanapali, Waiehu and Wailea Golf Course.

Register online at www.hsjga.org. The first 60 keiki to register online for each site will receive a free gift.
