Can you catch the Leprechaun? If you catch him, there will be a prize waiting for you at the finish line.

KAHULUI – The Leprechaun Chase, a three-mile run/walk and keiki dash, is returning to the Kahului Ale House on St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, March 17.

The three-mile run/walk will follow along the ocean on Amala Place to Kanaha Beach Park and back. A keiki 100-meter dash will precede the main event.

The races will be followed by age-group awards, a costume contest, and live music at the Kahului Ale House, all open to the public.

“We are especially excited about this year’s event. The opportunity to run or walk near the ocean in your greenest St Paddy’s day outfit and then enjoy great music and food will make it truly a fun event,” said MauiRunning.com event organizer Sam Wilbur.
