PGA Tour winners to compete at Hyundai Tournament of Champions
KAPALUA – Featuring an elite field of winners from the 2014 PGA Tour, the 2015 Hyundai Tournament of Champions is set for Jan. 8-12 at The Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort.
A pro-am will be held Jan. 8, followed by professional competition on Jan. 9-12.
The format is 72-hole individual stroke pay with no cut. Champions from the previous PGA Tour season will compete for their share of the $5.7 million purse, including $1.16 million to the winner.
Players who have committed to compete include Steven Bowditch, Ben Crane, Jason Day, Matt Every, Chesson Hadley, Brian Harman, Russell Henley, Billy Horschel, Chris Kirk, Ryan Moore, Geoff Ogilvy, Patrick Reed, John Senden, Kevin Stadler, Robert Streb, Kevin Streelman, Camillo Villegas, Bubba Watson, J.B. Holmes, Angel Cabrera, Jimmy Walker, Sang-Moon Bae, Tim Clark, Scott Stallings, Hunter Mahan, Ben Martin, Hideki Matsuyama and Matt Kuchar.

Free parking will be available at Honua Kai Resort, with free shuttles running continuously throughout the day Thursday through Monday. Free shuttles will also run from Whalers Village starting at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday (and every half-hour after) and 8:15 a.m. on Monday (and every half-hour after).
The Golf Channel will cover the tournament on Jan. 9 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. (HST), Jan. 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Jan. 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Jan. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Since moving to Kapalua in 1999, the tournament’s host organizations have contributed nearly $5 million to local Maui charities.
