PAIA – The tenth annual Cooney Surf Contest will be held at Hookipa Beach Park on Saturday, Oct. 11, starting at 7 a.m.

Divisions include Super Mini Groms (6 and under), Mini Grom (7-8), Menehune (9-11), Boys (12-14), Junior Men (15-17), Open Men (Pro-Am), Teeny Wahine (13 and under) and Open Women, along with a specialty event, the Invitational Air Show.

Entry is $25 for regular divisions and $30 for the pro-am. The entry includes a T-shirt and lunch.

Entries are available at Hawaiian Island Surf & Sport at 415 Dairy Road, Kahului.
