By Staff | Apr 24, 2014

LAHAINA – LahainaTown Action Committee invites golfers to its second annual Golf Classic on Saturday, May 3, at the Kaanapali Royal Golf Course. Golfers who participate will have the satisfaction of helping a charitable organization, with a portion of the tournament proceeds benefitting Lahaina Junior Golf.

The festivities kick off at 8 a.m. with a four-golfer scramble shotgun start. Registration is at 7 a.m. with a fee of $125, which includes a luncheon directly following the tournament with an awards ceremony and live auction. The perpetual trophy was carved by talented woodworking artist Paul Kasprzycki.

LAC President Sne Patel said, “This is a unique golf classic with many merchants contributing to the fun. Cool Cat Caf, Shark Pit Food Truck and Round Table Pizza will be offering ono grinds on selected holes, so bring your appetite and golf skills.”

A hole-in-one will win a brand new car sponsored by Jim Falk’s Valley Isle Motors. The public is invited to come join in the fun. For registration information, visit www.visitlahaina.com or call Lynn Donovan at LAC at 667-9175.
