Event to support LHS wrestlers
LAHAINA – The Lahaina Wrestling Club will hold a benefit at Lulu’s Lahaina on Saturday, April 5.
A silent auction with live music will be held from 8 to 10 p.m., followed by a deejay from 10 p.m. to closing.
Donations will be taken at the door as a cover charge. Proceeds will help LHS wrestlers with travel costs to summer competitions and clinics, preseason events and the state tournament.

U.S. Open Local Qualifier set
WAILUKU – A U.S. Open Local Qualifier tournament will be held on May 10 at King Kamehameha Golf Club.
Registration is currently open; participants must submit applications online by visiting champs.usga.org/index.html.

Pundy Yokouchi Memorial Golf Tournament slated
KAHULUI – The annual Pundy Yokouchi Memorial Golf Tournament, a benefit for the educational and community programs of the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, will take place on Saturday, April 12, with a shotgun start at 7 a.m. on the greens of The Dunes at Maui Lani. Spots are still available at $300 per two-person team and $500 for a hole sponsorship.
The tournament ends with an awards luncheon at Cafe O’Lei in The Dunes Clubhouse. Four par-three holes are eligible for closest-to-the-pin and hole-in-one contests. Hole-in-one prizes include a new Honda car, a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and $10,000.

Golf tourney to benefit Hawaiian immersion school
WAILUKU – On Saturday, April 19, N? Leo K?ko’o O Maui Inc. will host its 18th annual Kula Kaiapuni Golf Tournament benefiting Kula Kaiapuni O Maui, Hawaiian Language Immersion School, at The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course.
The two-man scramble team play format will return this year.
All registered golfers will be entered in a drawing for a Las Vegas trip for two that includes airfare and meals (must be present during announcement at banquet to win). On the course, golfers can vie for a chance at prizes.
Play begins with a shotgun start at 7 a.m. The tournament fee is $110 per golfer. A luncheon and award ceremony will be held immediately following play.
