LAHAINA – The Royal Lahaina Resort will host the third annual Battle of the Resorts Kickball Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Wainee Softball Field starting at 9 a.m.

There will be food and nonalcoholic drinks for purchase, and a jumping castle/water slide for children.

The community is invited to come and cheer on their favorite team. The 2013 field includes The Westin Maui Resort and Spa (2012 champion), Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort (2011 champion), Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa, Honua Kai Resort and Spa, Leilani’s on the Beach, Old Lahaina Luau, Maui Marriott Vacation Club, Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa, Royal Lahaina Resort and Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua.

Event proceeds will benefit the Visitor Industry Charity Walk, which supports numerous charities and nonprofit organizations throughout Maui.

The range of services provided by these charitable organizations touches many residents’ lives, from children to the elderly, athletic organizations to service-related agencies, and from health to housing.
