Youth wrestling practices set

The Lahainaluna High School Lady Lunas varsity water polo team will hold a benefit car wash on Saturday, March 24, from 9 a.m. to noon in the First Hawaiian Bank parking lot along Papalaua Street in Lahaina. Then on Saturday, March 31, from 8 a.m. to noon, the team will hold a Pancake Breakfast benefit at Hula Grill in Whalers Village. All proceeds will go toward the team’s travel fund.

WEST MAUI – Training future champions, Maui Style Wrestling began practices this month.

Keiki in grades K-8 are welcome to come to a practice. Wear a T-shirt, shorts and soft-sole shoes.

The Lahaina Roughnecks train on Mondays and Wednesdays at 4 p.m. in the Lahainaluna High School Wrestling Room. For information, call Conrad Bolor at 281-0656 or 661-3130.

The Napili Surfriders practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. in the Napilihau Recreation Center. Call Kim Ball at 661-1324 or 280-1320.

And the Lahaina Red Raiders train on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the King Kamehameha III Cafeteria. Call Terry Shibao at 385-3149.
