By Staff | Jan 26, 2012

The Lady Luna basketball team rolled to its 70th consecutive Maui Interscholastic League victory — an all sport record — with a 54-16 win over Maui High last Thursday evening at Lahaina Civic Center. On “Coaches For Cancer” awareness night, Lahainaluna also honored senior co-captains Ana Lauese (#33) and Paige Casil (#2) in their final home game. The team will now prepare for the MIL Tournament and the state playoffs scheduled for the first week of February in Honolulu. The Lady Lunas are currently ranked third in the state seedings.
