By Staff | Sep 15, 2011

WEST MAUI — Beyond the Rainbow Foundation recently announced the schedule of activities for the Aloha Team Classic-2011.

This four-day golf event is being held on Maui for the sixth year on Oct. 17-20.

During the first five years, the event raised more than $65,000, which has been granted to several different nonprofit agencies that provide services to help Maui youth.

This annual golf event is for amateur teams comprised of two individuals playing on three magnificent golf courses on Maui.

Several LPGA Tour professionals will give tournament participants the opportunity to “Play with a Pro” and to share their tips and tour experiences with the local community at an afternoon clinic on Thursday, Oct. 20.

The event schedule includes a Sunset Welcome Reception on Monday, Oct. 17; round at Kahili Golf Course on Tuesday, Oct. 18; round at the Kaanapali Royal Course on Wednesday, Oct. 19; and LPGA Clinic (open to the public) in Kaanapali at 3 p.m., round at the Kapalua Plantation Course and Dinner Finale on Thursday, Oct. 20.

Registration for the event includes all of the above activities at $1,475 per person. A non-player package for the two evening events is $295. The option to play two of the three rounds with an LPGA player is $800 per player for each member of the two-person team.

Special accommodation packages are available starting as low at $95 per person, double occupancy.

An amazing golf trip for two to Australia has been generously donated to Beyond the Rainbow Foundation and will be auctioned live during the dinner finale on Thursday, Oct. 20. With an approximate value of $5,000, this is sure to be a magnificent venture for the winning bidder.
