KAHANA — S-Turns Surf Club is sponsoring its ninth annual Keiki Long Board Surf Contest at 7 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 20, at S-Turns (Pohaku Park) in Kahana.

The event is open to the first 100 keiki ages 8-17. The contest entry fee, contest shirt, breakfast, lunch and door prizes are free, sponsored by the surf club’s fundraisers. Handmade trophies will be awarded to each age group winners.

S-Turns Surf Club currently has 18 brand new surfboards that will be raffled at the end of the contest. ANY student with a 2010-11 “Honor Roll” report card can receive a special raffle ticket for the “Winner’s Choice Surfboard.”
