KIHEI — The Valley Isle Masters Swimmers’ 25th annual Maui Roughwater Swim Race is scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 26, at 8:30 a.m.

Open to all age groups, this year’s race is a benefit swim for the South Maui Sharks swim team. All profits will be donated to this organization.

The 1.7-mile course starts at Keawekapu Beach and finishes at Polo Beach. 

Entries are available at county pools or online at www.mastersswimmaui.org. The fee is $25. Membership with United States Masters Swimming or USA Swimming is required. A one-day membership is $15 for USMS.
