WEST MAUI — i9 Sports Maui will add a West Side program for its winter flag football season for boys and girls ages 4-14.  

Currently finishing its inaugural season in Central Maui, i9 Sports will offer field locations in Central Maui and Napili for the winter season running from Dec. 5, 2009 to Feb. 13, 2010, with breaks for the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays.  

Play is on Saturdays, with an emphasis on sportsmanship, fair play and all kids playing all games. There are no tryouts or drafts, and beginners are welcome.  

Players will only play at the field they register for, so no traveling. No midweek practices — only on Saturdays, one hour prior to game time.  

i9 Sports makes it convenient for parents with no fund-raising or mandatory volunteering (volunteer parent coaches are welcome, however).

Register before Oct. 31 for a $10 discount. Jersey, flag belt, sportsmanship medals and trophies will be provided.
