Keiki Fishing Tournament to benefit Maui United Way

KAANAPALI — Children will spend a fun-filled morning fishing for tilapia at the first annual Keiki Fishing Tournament, a benefit for Maui United Way.

The event will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Kaanapali Golf Resort Pond, 2290 Kaanapali Parkway. Registration is slated for 8:15 to 8:45 a.m.

Entry forms are available at Maui Electric Company, Kaanapali Golf Resort Shop, Maui United Way, Maui Sporting Goods and Maui Fishing Supply.

Submit completed entry forms and payment to any of the above locations no later than Sept. 17 by 4 p.m. If paying by cash, submit payment in person to MECO. 

No entry forms and payments will be accepted on event day.

Keiki can win prizes for biggest fish and smallest fish in the following age categories: five and under, ages 6-11, and ages 12-15.
