WAILUKU – The County of Maui Housing Division recently announced the availability of a temporary Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program for qualifying households impacted by COVID-19.

The program is funded by the HOME Investment Partnerships Program and will be administered by the Family Life Center.

Program qualifications require that applicants be residents of the County of Maui, have a household income at or below 60 percent area median income, have experienced a loss of employment or significant decrease in working hours due to COVID-19, and that they are looking to start a new lease.
