The 2019 Real Estate Sales Statistics are in!

The Realtors Association of Maui (RAM) has released the year-end market statistics for Maui County. Single-family home median sales prices were up by 4.4 percent overall to $714,355. Days on market decreased by -8.3 percent county-wide. Sales volume was up by 3.7 percent county-wide. New listings were up 2.5 percent and pending sales were up by 6.9 percent county-wide.
Median sales prices for condominiums were up +3.1 percent to $515,500, with days on market down -11.0 percent, sales volume down – 6.1 percent, new listings down -3.4 percent and pending sales down -4.9 percent in condominiums county-wide.
West Maui had 137 sales of single-family homes for a total volume of $236,639,221. Kapalua led the way with a 137 percent gain in home sales, followed by Lahaina up 11.3 percent.
West Maui condominium sales were up 40.2 percent in Lahaina, followed by a 35.6 percent increase in condo sales in Kapalua.
Vacant land sales were up 100 percent in Olowalu with two sales in 2019 (one sale in 2018). Kaanapali and Lahaina both had a decrease in vacant land sales. Kapalua had no vacant land sales in 2018 up to two sales of vacant land in 2019.
