KAHANA – Hawaiiana Management Company recently held a blessing for its new West Maui office in the Kahana Gateway Professional Building. The blessing was performed by Kahu Ernest “Da Barefoot Warrior” Puaa of Lahaina.

Approximately 70 guests, including clients, colleagues and friends, were in attendance and enjoyed catering by Comfort Zone Catering, a part of CJ’s Deli and Diner in Kaanapali.

Hawaiiana Management Company’s West Maui office, which opened Aug. 1, serves as a satellite office to Hawaiiana’s primary location in Kihei and provides convenience for the company’s 30-plus association management clients on the West Side of Maui – many of whom were in attendance. Hawaiiana’s association management clientele includes Kapalua Golf Villas, The Vintage at Kaanapali, Royal Kahana and Kaanapali Royal, among their association management clients.

April Lum, CMCA, AMS, who serves as Office Coordinator and Management Executive for the office, freed the maile lei from the office door as part of the blessing ceremony.

April is known to many in the West Maui community for her work as Executive Assistant to the President and Office Manager for Management Consultants of Hawaii in Lahaina, where she served for over 17 years.

Hawaiiana opened its first office on Maui in 2002 and currently serves 108 associations on Maui and 742 state-wide, while maintaining a client retention rate of nearly 99 percent.
