A toast to 49!

By Staff | Nov 7, 2019

We recently celebrated our 49-year honeymoon on August 8th in Hana. Mike and I arrived on Maui in 1971 with our one-year-old son, Jeff, from Los Angeles and hitchhiked a ride from the Kahului Airport to the Lahaina Banyan Tree.

Mike’s first job was mowing lawns at a Kaanapali condominium, and mine was as a cashier at the Lahaina-Kaanapali Railroad Station. After a series of jobs in the Hotel Industry and independent restaurants, like Kimo’s, we choose a career in Real Estate.

We enjoy the Hawaiian culture with its aloha and focus on family. We have met so many new friends who have become our ‘Ohana. The endearing part being our relationships at Harvest Kumulani Chapel with Pastor Ricky Ryan.

We are grateful to call Maui our home and believe we found a profession we are passionate about – and that’s helping families buy their home.

When you are ready to buy or sell your next property, please call Mike and Nancy for some friendly, professional advice. Cheers!
