Realtor Action Day benefits Maui schools
LAHAINA – Realtor Action Day (RAD), this year held on Sept. 14, is a community service event that encourages Realtor volunteerism across the state.
Around 200 Realtors worked alongside students and community members to achieve campus improvement projects at schools.
On Maui, Realtors painted the Hawaiian Islands and put up a honu mural at Pomaika’i Elementary School; cleaned and re-painted the four-square and hopscotch areas at Waihe’e Elementary School; painted inspirational quotes and messages throughout the Lahaina Intermediate School campus; and painted benches and wooden trash receptacles Saber Blue at Maui High School.
Hawaii Realtors, founded in 1967, and is a professional trade organization with 10,000 active members involved in all aspects related to the sale, purchase or exchange of real estate in Hawaii.
