Napili Villas a haven for residents
The Realtors Association of Maui (RAM) has released the year-end statistics for 2018. The overview shows median prices of single-family homes were up to $710,000 and median prices of condominiums up to $500,000.
Closed sales in both categories are up 1,137; single-family homes for a gain of 3.3 percent and 1,654 condos (up 13.8 percent) in 2018. Total sales volume is also up in both categories, which makes sense. Days on market are down for single-family homes to 145, and up on condominiums to 156 days on market.
While the above statistics are for all of Maui, the West Maui statistics told a slightly different story. Sales of single-family homes were down to 130 or a 6.5 percent drop. Condominium sales were up 13.9 percent with a total of 549 West Maui condo sales in 2018. Thanks to RAM for compiling the above statistics.
