What’s happening at The Maui Eldorado Resort
KAANAPALI – The Maui Eldorado Resort has seen quite a busy selling season (the chart shows the current active, pending and sold sales since Jan. 1, 2017). Maui Eldorado remains a tremendous value for the location within the resort.
With only 204 units on approximately ten acres of land fronting the Kaanapali Golf Courses, the Maui Eldorado has three pools, underground parking, a professionally managed front desk by Outrigger, concierge and caf onsite, and access to the private beach cabana for owners and guests. Its close proximity to Whalers Village and some of the best beaches on the island – and yet being just far enough away from the madding crowds – makes it the number one choice for many return guests each year.
The resort has made recent improvements to the main pool with an Ipe deck surround, the addition of a hot tub, handicapped-accessible bathrooms, a covered shaded area and outside shower, and they have also enhanced the large deck area with an artificial grass and new lawn chairs and umbrellas for shade. The grounds are looking super, and after the construction, the replacement plantings are already filling in by the garage and walking paths.
The two-bedroom B-106 is a garden view unit that has been completely upgraded (new kitchen and bathrooms that have granite counter tops and under-mount sinks). All the sliding glass doors have been replaced to the new ones that just glide open. It’s listed at only $419,000 LH.
Unit K-113 has a lovely ocean view, also completely upgraded with an island in the kitchen, new carpet, granite counter tops and tiled bathrooms, and new sliding glass doors. Ocean views are from the kitchen, living room and the master bedroom. It has a very private lanai surrounded by lush landscaping – the perfect spot to spend some time relaxing after a hard day at the beach! K-113 is listed at $575,950 LH.

Maui Eldorado is a 90 percent leasehold and 10 percent fee simple property; owners pay a monthly rent to the Ralph Hoyle Trust for the lease of the land.
