Troon to assume management of Pineapple Grill
KAPALUA – Troon, the world’s largest golf and hospitality management company, announced last week that it will assume management and operations of the Pineapple Grill Restaurant, located at The Bay Course Clubhouse in Kapalua Resort, from the Cohn Restaurant Group.
Troon’s award-winning food and beverage division, which manages over 155 restaurants located at golf resorts, private clubs, daily fee golf courses and recreational facilities around the world, will assume management and operational oversight.
The Pineapple Grill will remain open as the management and operational transitions take place over the next couple of months.
The entire restaurant staff will be retained and continue to provide exceptional service and innovative Pacific Island cuisine.
“Moving forward, the Troon food and beverage team will look to enhance the restaurant and dining experiences at the Pineapple Grill through procurement of the best quality products on the islands, utilizing local and sustainable products, implementation of world-class culinary techniques and leveraging current trends in the industry,” said Carlos Acosta, corporate food and beverage director at Troon.
“We wish the Cohn Restaurant Group best of luck in their ongoing endeavors and thank them for the valued partnership,” said Mike Jones, general manager, Kapalua Golf & Tennis.
“Our focus will be to continue the legacy of the Pineapple Grill and also build upon the restaurant’s success, and elevating the dining and culinary experience at Kapalua.”
