In addition to his newly acquired CRS designation, Derek also holds the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR) certification as well as the coveted Graduate, Realtor Institute, or GRI designation. The SFR certification teaches real estate professionals how to work with distressed sellers and qualify them for short sales with lenders. It also teaches how to limit risk and protect buyers. Realtors with the GRI designation have in-depth training in legal and regulatory issues, technology, professional standards and the sales process.

Along with Derek being a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Realtors Association of Maui, he brings 17 years of knowledge and experience in all aspects of the real estate buying and selling process.
