KAANAPALI – Whalers Realty is proud to announce that once again, two of our brokers achieved the Hawaii Business Magazine List of the Top 100 Realtors for the State of Hawaii in 2014. Since 2007, Hawaii Business Magazine has honored these elite individuals who are involved in over 40 percent of Hawaii’s real estate volume collectively each year. This year, Hawaii Business Magazine ranked realtors based on sales volume and number of transactions they participated in during 2013.

The State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs’ Professional and Vocational Licensing Division recently reported that there are 12,000-plus active brokers and salespersons presently licensed in Hawaii. Coming from the small town of Lahaina/West Maui and competing with realtors from Oahu, it is most impressive for Robert J. Cartwright and Mark A. Marchello to reach the volume of sales to be ranked in the Top 100.

A celebration ceremony was held in Oahu to acknowledge the winners. At this year’s ceremony, Whalers Realty was proud to be represented by two of their finest realtors: Cartwright, principal broker and owner of Whalers Realty Inc., and Marchello, one of our Luxury Property Specialists.

Cartwright and Marchello have won the distinguished Top 100 Realtor honor numerous times before.

Last year, Cartwright was awarded the esteemed “Hall of Fame” title for achieving Top 100 Realtors status in five of the seven years that the list had been in existence. This is the third time Marchello has made the list.

This year, we are proud to announce that Cartwright won his sixth award and was listed in the Top Ten of the Top 100 List. Cartwright stated, “Although it’s an honor to receive such prestigious awards, the recognition should be given to the people that support me every day: my wife, Tess, and the loyal and dedicated support staff at Whalers Realty.”

Marchello stated that he lives by the Walt Disney quote “If you can dream it, you can do it.” He went on to say that like Bob, he could not have achieved his success without the support of his wife, Vicki, and his team of assistants. He was thankful that through his career in real estate, he was able to put his two children, Kelly and Andy, through college. He is most proud of the fact that Andy has chosen to follow him into the family business and is now a new licensee with Whalers Realty as well.
