Many upgrades complete at Valley Isle Resort
KAHANA – Almost two years ago, Valley Isle Resort was making the front page of this publication with the news of the fire that affected the gym and the front desk area. The gym was open to the public, servicing local clientele and Maui visitors. Many of you may remember the front desk area by its round shape, with a beautiful water feature and the huge cast iron whale in the center.
At the time of writing this editorial, Valley Isle Resort has a beautiful new front desk area decorated with vibrant colors. The whale is still “in storage,” and we hope that it will be unveiled soon.
Many upgrades were made to the condition of the property since 2012, along with the removal of the structures affected by the fire: spalling work on the exterior of the condo building, resurfacing the lanais and hallways, and painting. New landscaping and a new water feature with a coy pond are now enchanting the younger guests of the resort, and even the pool area got a facelift.
We are currently listing unit #902, a one-bedroom/one-bath unit with a living area of 768 square feet. This unit comes all furnished, turn key, ready for vacation rentals and able to accommodate up to four guests (there are two twin Murphy beds in the living room). But the best part is the ocean view from the ninth floor!
