Must love dogs

KAANAPALI – When David Quandt and his wife, Wyndy, moved to Maui 18 months ago and started looking for property, little did they know that their two dogs would also have a say.
“We were looking for that perfect property to fit our lifestyle,” said David. “It had to be in West Maui, have plenty of room to grow and play, be situated in a quiet neighborhood and be pet friendly. Surprisingly, not all properties in West Maui allow pets. Pricing was also a deciding factor.”
When Ka`anapali Coffee Farms announced their new lot pricing, the dream of home ownership in this premiere agricultural community became a reality.
“We jumped at the opportunity to live in Ka`anapali Coffee Farms, a community we’ve always admired but thought we couldn’t afford,” said David, who works for Sotheby’s and just opened VIP Mortgage. “I was so happy with our purchase of Lot 11, I sold a lot to each of my friends right next door on Lots 12 and 13. They have dogs, too!”
Lot 13 owners, Justin Brunold and his fianc, Alexis Dizon, already had an affinity to Ka`anapali Coffee Farms, having enjoyed walks with their dog for the past two years in this community.
“We were drawn to the views, the peace and serenity, the amount of space and location,” said Justin, who runs a property management business, KBM Hawaii, in West Maui.
“The new lot pricing made the dream of building a home in this community a reality for us. We can’t wait to start planting new roots here.”
Both owners will begin construction of their new homes next year.
The popularity of the Ka`anapali Coffee Farms (KCF) community in West Maui has soared in recent months. In the past 60 days, a total of seven lots have been sold, and KCF total sales year-to-date currently account for more than 50 percent of all vacant land sales in the Kaanapali district.
“Ka`anapali Coffee Farms offers by far the best value and is one of the most unique products on the market today,” said Rohn Stark, principal broker of Platinum Properties HAWAII.
Spacious four- to seven-acre estate lots are available. Lot prices start from $520,000. To schedule your personal property showing, contact Rohn Stark at (808) 870-5571 or rohn@PlatinumPropertiesHI.com. Visit www.KaanapaliCoffeeFarms.com and follow us on Facebook.
