Thankful for growth, community and new team members — Maui is no ka ‘oi

By Staff | Dec 6, 2012

The Aloha Realty Group team is active in the community.

We’re thankful to live on Maui, but it’s not just the ‘aina that makes Maui no ka ‘oi. The West Maui community is amazing. People go out of their way to make this a better place to live and work – it’s the norm, not the exception.

People like Pat and Richard Endsley, who founded and operate the Lahaina Tutoring program. These amazing people coordinate tutoring for more than 300 students every year with approximately 100 tutors in subjects from math to reading to hula and everything in between.

There are also many volunteers with the LahainaTown Action Committee, led by Lynn Donavan and Sne Patel, who coordinate events we all enjoy like Halloween and the Banyan Tree Lighting.

A lot of those volunteers are small business owners just like us at Aloha Realty Group. The last few years have been tough, but we put our heads down and worked through it, still finding time and money to give back to the community.

2012 has been an outstanding year, and we’re thankful. Business is good and our team is growing. We are honored to welcome Beverly Will and Elise Sharon to Aloha Realty Group.

We appreciate that our team members Candace Horton, Fred Sconfienza, Karen Flinn, Bev Will and Elise Sharon volunteer their time for community projects, including the tutoring program.

The Aloha Potts Team and Aloha Realty Group have been proud to contribute a portion of the proceeds of every sale to a local charitable organization. We believe that giving back in both time and money is at the core of what makes our Maui community no ka ‘oi!
