Chris Benson recently joined the team at Whalers Realty Inc.

KAANAPALI – Whalers Realty is pleased to introduce Chris Benson. Chris is a new member of our team and the latest graduate of our “Fast Track to Success” training program.

Chris is excited to graduate from the program and is confident that with this training, he is prepared to take advantage of the opportunities that lie ahead for him.

Chris is originally from historic Sonora, California, situated in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. He is a graduate of the University of California Santa Barbara, where he discovered his passion for marketing and communications.

Chris first came to Maui to visit family as a child, and the island has always felt like his second home. The harmony of the people, culture and natural beauty beckoned Chris back to Maui, which he made his permanent home in 2009.

Chris believes that his responsiveness, integrity, diligence, passion, technological savvy and knowledge of the Maui market are among his best assets. Helping people realize their dream, of owning a home on Maui, is such a rewarding feeling that he wouldn’t trade his chosen profession as a Realtor for anything.

When he’s not spending time helping people find their home on Maui, Chris surfs, paints, and plays piano and guitar. His passion for surfing has given him the opportunity to explore firsthand some of the most unique and beautiful oceanfront sites the island has to offer.

The schooling consists of an eight-week intensive training program for new agents, which allows for one-on-one training with our Principal Broker, Robert J. Cartwright, winner of Hawaii Business Magazine’s Hall of Fame award and consistently ranked as one of the Top 100 Realtors in Hawaii.

In addition, agents are provided with hands-on training from WRI’s specialized staff managers. The team shares with the trainee our company’s proven success methods with regard to sales technique, product demonstration, technology tools, prospecting, marketing, financing and escrow.

For experienced agents, Whalers Realty offers a four-week concentrated training course, which focuses on specific topics that the agent has requested help with. In addition to these programs, WRI offers classes that provide our agents with the opportunity to achieve professional designations, such as the Accredited Buyers Representative, Resort and Second Home Specialist and e-Pro.
