Having lived here in Hawaii my whole life, and the last 26 years here on Maui, I agree wholeheartedly. So many wonderful places, activities, cultures and people all make this a wonderful place to call home.

Then there is hiking back into the West Maui Mountains, the Kapalua Arboretum, the old Pali Trail, Swinging Bridges, Hana and the Seven Sacred Pools, Haleakala, and so many other hidden gems to explore.

Yet, the best thing about Maui? It’s the lifestyle. The small town atmosphere. The feeling of community and neighbors create the fabric to get involved and be part of the whole. There is an easy going attitude – a slower, more appreciative pace to enjoy life and the island.
