Whalers Realty implements new training program for agents

Whalers Realty’s continued commitment to excellence through education has risen to a new level with the institution of a formal training program for new and experienced agents. As Whalers Realty continues to strive to improve our agent’s knowledge and professionalism, our new program is detailed and multifaceted so as to enable our agents to adapt to the ever-changing real estate market.
The schooling consists of an eight-week intensive training program for new agents and a four-week concentrated training course for the experienced agents. This comprehensive training regimen also provides our agents with the instruction that allows them to achieve prestigious designations as the Accredited Buyers Representative.
This training is all facilitated and reinforced by one-on-one time with our new Sales Manager and Trainer, Angela Schilling, and Principal Broker Robert J. Cartwright.
Angela received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from San Diego State University, with an emphasis on teaching and training. She has worked in management with such high-profile organizations as Ista North America, Nordstrom and Starbucks Coffee Co.
Angela stated, “I am thrilled with the opportunity to further and promote professionalism through continuing education for such an iconic Maui firm as Whalers Realty.”
Angela has worked closely with Cartwright to create the training program. She said, “Working with Mr. Cartwright has been invaluable in developing our training programs. His decades of experience are a crucial basis for our agent’s success, for they will receive real life, practical knowledge from one of Hawaii’s top real estate brokers.”
