LAHAINA — Aloha Realty Group in the heart of Lahaina has their hearts in the right place and really do go the extra mile for you — in fact, 13 of them.

The current major project that Principal Broker Barbara Potts is focused on is “Dollars for Scholars,” a wine tasting event with pupus, music and silent auction scheduled for May 27. The goal is to raise $10,000 for the Lahaina Complex After School Tutoring Project.

The project makes a difference in students’ lives and helps build Maui’s future. It’s staffed and coordinated by volunteers and offered free to the participating students. Tickets are available online at www.PFEE.org.

Some Aloha Realty Group agents will be going the extra 13 miles in the Maui Marathon this fall to raise funds for West Maui schools.

So far, in addition to Barbara, the running team includes Mihaela Stoops, who specializes in resort condominium sales for second homeowners or investors.

Other team members are Candace “Can Do” Horton and Limping Lee Potts. Candace has a sweet stride and has lived on Maui for 35 years. She focuses on luxury homes.

Lee specializes in short sales and REOs. With that focus, he runs just to maintain his sanity!

Fred Sconfienza, who works Kahului to Kaanapali, is being recruited to run as well.
