Hawaii Pack and Ship opens retail location in Lahaina

By Staff | Mar 14, 2013

Hawaii Pack and Ship recently opened a retail location on Dickenson Street in Lahaina.

LAHAINA – Until a few weeks ago, Hawaii Pack and Ship only provided order fulfillment services for a clothing store and an Internet retailer.

Now the business serves everyone from a retail location on Dickenson Street near Penne Pasta Cafe and Espresso Italiano.

The purpose for the new location is expressed in the business tagline: “Packing and Shipping Convenience.” Owner Jeff Willits said he wants to operate where there is easy access.

The location is also convenient for many Front Street and other area businesses that ship for their customers. When customers at the store Life is Good on Maui ask to ship their purchases, the store provides the items to Hawaii Pack and Ship to send. Other stores refer their customers directly to Hawaii Pack and Ship.

All United States Postal Service methods of shipment are available. In addition to packing, shipping and business order fulfillment, the business offers printing, scanning, fax services and private mailbox rental. A large variety of new and recycled shipping boxes and mailing tubes are stocked.

Since opening the store, Willits found that by offering custom-made cardboard boxes, he can provide boxes suited for expensive artwork and handmade valuable items that need care when shipped.

Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The store is also open Saturday mornings. Plenty of parking is available behind Dickenson Square.
