Provide input for UH’s strategic plan
The University of Hawaii is asking all residents for their help in creating the next strategic plan for the ten-campus UH System by participating in a short survey — a critical component to the UH Strategic Plan 2023-2029 initiative.
The UH Strategic Plan 2023-2029 initiative survey explains: “The State of Hawaii has gone through much change since the start of the global pandemic. Many feel that Hawaii must be more sustainable, resilient, and equitable if it is to emerge from this pandemic globally competitive. But Hawaii will succeed in this mission only if its higher education system can also pivot to support this new future. As such, the University of Hawaii seeks your input in developing a new Strategic Plan 2023-2029 to guide the institution in the right direction.”
Available through midnight on July 22 via www.hawaii.edu (click Strategic Plan at top right), the survey takes just a few minutes to complete and is for anyone interested in the future of Hawaii’s only public higher education system.
This community survey follows a recent poll of current UH students, faculty, staff and administrators and several virtual town halls.
The UH Strategic Plan 2023-2029 initiative builds upon prior projects that focused on what Hawaii needs most from its public higher education system going forward.
Recent community input will be incorporated into the first draft of the UH Strategic Plan 2023-2029, which is expected in September 2022. At that time, all members of the community will be invited to provide comments and suggestions.
