Celebrate learning achievements by Lahainaluna High School students

By Staff | Apr 29, 2022

The Lahainaluna High School community is excited to announce that the Student Showcase is back.

The fourth annual event will be held on Tuesday, May 3, at 2:30 p.m. in the cafeteria on campus.

Math Teacher Cornelio “CJ” Ancheta explained, “Showcasing student works puts them in the limelight as they describe the process and products of their learning.

“Just like in any sports or performing arts, they bring families and community members together to celebrate their achievements.”

The format will be similar to 2019, with each project occupying one table.

Some of the enlightening projects set for this school year include Skincohearent, Got Ping Pong Parachute?, and Skeletal Golf by Science students; Proving the Pythagorean Theorem, and The Art of Triangles by Math students; Does The Number of Hours Spent On Social Media Influence Risk Factors Related to Eating Disorders in Lahainaluna High School Students? by Health Pathway students; The World Trade Center Before (and After in a separate presentation) September 11, 2001, and The National American Woman Suffrage Association by History/Social Studies students.

Light refreshments will be served. Participants are asked to wear masks.
