Dine out on Nov. 13 and help Hospice Maui

By Staff | Nov 1, 2012

For more than 30 years, Hospice Maui has been committed to providing Maui residents in need with quality, compassionate care to help ease the physical, emotional and spiritual pain associated with terminal illness.

Residents from all across the island have been blessed by the gifts – including compassion, comfort and peace of mind – that hospice care can bring to a family as they care for a terminally ill loved one.

This year, a record 28 Maui restaurants will lend their support to this vital charity during “Dine Out for Hospice Maui!” on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

Simply dine at a participating restaurant, and the eatery will donate proceeds from meals on Nov. 13 to Hospice Maui.

The lineup includes lots of great options: Leoda’s Kitchen & Pie Shop, Maui Brewing Co., Star Noodle, Teddy’s Bigger Burgers, Merriman’s Kapalua, Aloha Mixed Plate, Fleetwood’s on Front St., Honu Seafood & Pizza, and Mala Ocean Tavern in West Maui; Stella Blues Cafe, Capische?, Fabiani’s Bakery & Pizzeria, Mala Wailea, Mulligan’s on the Blue, Pita Paradise Wailea, Monkeypod Kitchen and Buzz’s Wharf in South Maui; Market Fresh Bistro, Casanova Italian Restaurant, Kula Lodge & Restaurant, Moana Cafe, Flatbread and Polli’s Mexican Restaurant in the Upcountry area; and Da Kitchen Cafe, McDonald’s on Dairy Road, McDonald’s Kahului, Ruby’s Diner and Bistro Casanova’s in Central Maui.

Event proceeds will help Hospice Maui continue to meet the increasing need for hospice care and help ensure that hospice care is available to all Maui residents in need, regardless of their ability to pay.
