Learn about West Maui projects at WMTA meeting

By Staff | Dec 29, 2011

For more than 35 years, the West Maui Taxpayers Association has worked to make the West Side better.

Members have served with and for the West Maui community to push county and state infrastructure investment in roads, parks, health care facilities, fire and ambulance stations and many other community improvements.

To find out the organization’s current priorities and plans for 2012, attend WMTA’s Annual Meeting on Jan. 12 at Lahaina Civic Center.

Food service will begin at 5 p.m., followed by a short WMTA business meeting at 5:30 p.m. and the program.

The agenda includes presentations on Hawaii Department of Transportation projects, the proposed West Maui Hospital and Medical Center, West Maui Skate Park update and much more.

WMTA’s Annual Meeting is also a unique opportunity for residents to hear updates from state and county officials.

Anyone who lives, works, visits or owns property in West Maui will find the Annual Meeting very informative.
